Property claim support for homeowners and policyholders.

Frequently asked questions

Questions policyholders ask us first

If your question is not here, ask it directly — we would rather explain than have you guess.

Getting started

What does a public adjuster do?

A public adjuster works for the policyholder rather than the insurance company. The role is to review the policy, document the damage and handle the claim paperwork and communication on your behalf.

When should I contact a public adjuster?

You can reach out as soon as damage occurs, and also later — when a claim feels stalled, when the settlement does not match the damage, or when you simply want the file reviewed by someone on your side.

Do I have to decide anything on the first call?

No. The first conversation is a review of your situation, not a commitment. Any engagement is set out in a separate written agreement, and nothing is signed until you have read it.

Your claim situation

Can you review an underpaid or denied claim?

Yes. We start with the policy language, the documentation in the file and the insurer’s response, then explain what options exist based on what the review shows.

Can an older claim be reopened or supplemented?

Sometimes. It depends on the policy, the claim history and applicable deadlines. Bring what you have and we will tell you what the documents actually allow.

What if I am not sure whether I have a claim at all?

That is a common place to start. Describe what you are seeing at the property, and the policy and the conditions get looked at before anyone decides whether there is something to pursue.

How the work is done

How does the inspection process work?

We walk the property, record conditions and visible damage, look for related damage that is easy to miss, and organize the findings into documentation that supports the claim file.

What information should I have ready?

Helpful items include your policy or declarations page, the claim number if one exists, photos of the damage, dates, and any letters or estimates you have received. If something is missing, we work with what you have.

Who will I be dealing with?

You keep one point of contact from the first call onward, so you are not repeating your situation to a different person each time you call.

Agreements and documents

How are fees determined?

Fees are explained during your initial claim review and set out in writing in the agreement before anything is signed. Nothing is signed until you have read the terms.

How does the secure DocuSign process work?

You complete a short intake form, then receive the documents through DocuSign. You review and sign electronically, our adjuster signs afterward, and a completed copy is emailed to you.
